Which Voice Solution? Your Call.
Businesses are on the move, and Comcast Business is moving with them. We offer three mobile-enabled voice solutions– Business Voice Mobility, VoiceEdge Select™ and Business VoiceEdge™ – each with features and functions that let customers connect when and where they want.
Each of the offerings provide affordable, reliable features, including Be Anywhere: the feature that enables users to receive and make calls from any device (desk phone, mobile phone, home phone) while showing a single business number for a unified, professional appearance. But there are some essential differences that distinguish these products from one another.
First, the key difference between Business VoiceEdge and VoiceEdge Select is the simplest: the number of seats. VoiceEdge Select is designed for customers that need between three to eight seats, and will never need to add additional extensions. VoiceEdge Select is also a lower cost option than many other VoIP solutions, since it doesn’t require the installation of a WAN connection. It is a great solution for small businesses that don’t anticipate much expansion, want equipment with their phones, and don’t have existing Comcast Business voice lines.
In contrast, the Business VoiceEdge product set offers a scalable voice solution for larger businesses that are looking for feature rich solutions at multiple locations. Business VoiceEdge requires a five-seat minimum and is engineered to run over a WAN. It is a great solution for customers looking to grow their business in the next year or so, needing equipment with their voice lines, and/or requiring additional hunt groups or other voice features.
